This is what some of our students
have to say about Wilson's Karate And Fitness:
Ken,
Honestly I cannot thank you enough for the awesome workouts that you give all of
us! You are seriously the B-E-S-T at what you do!! When I used to workout
with you in 2002 you got me in the greatest shape of my life.... and when I went
off to college I tried many places that offered kickboxing and Tae Bo and not
one place satisfied me. I have finally graduated and moved back home to
the Mentor area. The first thing that I wanted to do was try and find you
and your new studio because I have four years of 'college living' to work off!!
:-) Anyways, I searched the yellow pages and the Internet for about an hour
trying to find your new studio and finally came across your website! I am
so extremely excited to get back into your classes because I know that I will
get an amazing workout. Plus you are sooo energetic and fun that it makes
it that much better!! Take care and see you SOON!!

Dear Ken,
Ready for another great session? The
summer of Fitness Kickboxing helped me turn a real corner... my flexibility is
back, my energy level is up, and my weight is down. I was tired of my old
routine, bored at the gym... and needed new friends to workout with... Your
class is so fun, I can't believe how fast an hour goes!!
Music thumping, heart rate
pumping... my entire day can change for the better after an hour in class. You
are the best! You keep it exciting and enthusiastic and always vary our workouts
so it keeps us on our toes! I am happy to tell everyone who asks just how this
body got in shape!
Kickboxing with Kenny~
Thanks to you!
Happily,

Hi Kenny,
I just wanted to let you know how much I Love YOUR FITNESS KICKBOXING classes. You invited me to try my first class. I worked out in street clothes and knew I found something really good. The first month I lost 5 inches off my belly. The next month I lost 2 inches off my hips and nothing off my bust. That's Great! I lost it where I needed it the most. This really works for me better than anything I've tried. My friends and people I know are telling me I LOOK GREAT! My friends and clients are asking my how to get in your kickboxing classes too. It is so much fun. I try to get in every class I can. It is easy to follow the instructor. He keeps the workout interesting by showing new and different material all the time.

I have been taking cardio kickboxing classes with Kenny
Wilson for almost six years. I initially started going to his classes
because one of my friends was going. She wanted someone to come with her, so
I went. After a few classes, I realized that I was feeling a lot better. I
had more energy, my clothes fit better, but most importantly, I was doing
something that would benefit my long term health.
Over the years, Kenny has constantly been trying to find ways to improve his
program. For instance, his addition of strength training allows his students
to improve their muscle definition. His use of paddles and bags not only
improves coordination, but it also provides an excellent cardiovascular
workout. Kenny has also added a dietary guide in an effort to supply better
nutritional habits.
Kenny's willingness to tailor his program to not only meet the recommended
health guidelines, but also to meet his students' needs, makes his program
excellent. I have enjoyed Kenny's program over the years, and I will
continue to go because of the added energy and overall benefits to my
health.

"Cardio-kickboxing with Ken Wilson is the ultimate exercise
of grace under fire. At 58, I never thought I could move this much this
fast, but in just six weeks I've noticed a great increase in my stamina and
flexibility—AND, I've lost 12 pounds! Each session is a fun,
work-at-your-own pace combination of choreographed dance/martial arts
experience set to music, and provides a total mind and body workout. The
small classes afford individual instruction—almost like having a personal
trainer. And, the self-defense instruction is invaluable.".... Suz Walker,

 I
started doing Fit-Kick classes after years of doing little more than sitting
at a desk. After giving birth to twelve children I was at least thirty
pounds overweight. I never had much energy and didn't do any real physical
activities. I didn't believe there was much that I could do with this body.
I felt that I was too far gone, had too many children, and was stuck the way
I was. Boy was I wrong!
My husband found out about Kenny's Fitness Kick Boxing from a friend. He has
always been into physical fitness and loves to run, ride his bicycle, and
lift weights. He told me that he wanted to start taking the Fitness
Kickboxing classes. I knew that I really needed something to help me get
back into shape and it sounded interesting to me. I decided to give it a
try.
I started taking a couple of classes per week. Later I stepped it up to
three per week, then daily. Kenny always made the classes fun and never
monotonous. I know that I would have lost interest in a boring, unchanging
fitness routine. These classes are always different, and are a total body
workout. I changed my eating habits at Kenny's recommendation. I started
eating less fatty foods and smaller meals more frequently. Before I didn't
really eat much, which only caused my body to hoard calories. My lack of
activity slowed my metabolism which contributed to my holding on to extra
weight.
Now I am helping Kenny teach his Fit-Kick classes and have lost thirty two
pounds. I went from size 16 jeans to size 5. I have so much energy now that
I do four classes per week-day and one on Saturdays for a total of 21
classes per week. My kids take Tae Kwon Do classes at Wilson's Karate and
Fitness, and the whole family comes to work out when they are able. I know
that this is not some crash diet and exercise program, but a radical change
in my lifestyle.
